Our New Milk RoomWe are so proud of our new milking barn. Our girls (all 70+ of them) are very content to enter the new barn at milking time. We have gone from our old facility, where we could only milk six goats at once, to this new facility. We now bring 12 goats in for milking at a time. This has cut milking time and gives the goats a better place to wait before they come into the barn for milking. The new milk barn is another step toward going Grade A. Once we have a new machine in place to cap our bottles, we will begin to sell milk. Check back for updates as we complete our progress to Grade A. |
